The Locality of Farnham View

Cavan is a beautiful unspoilt county, widely renowned for its many lakes, golf courses, estate houses, hotels, equestrian centre, outdoor adventure centre, GAA Grounds, fishing and swimming clubs, archaeology sites and many cathedrals.

Farnham View B&B is just over one hour from Dublin, forty minutes from Enniskillen, 5km from Cavan town and Ballinagh and in close proximity to the Radisson Blu SAS Hotel.

Farnham View B&B is situated in the quaint country area known as Farnham. This area is renowned for it peacefulness, its greenery and pleasant views, steeped in history dating back to the Vikings.

There are many lakes in close proximity to the house. Lough Oughter being of most interest as it carries with it a beautiful Castle. This lough is also connected to a tranquil forest park known as Killykeen forest park. This park houses a variety of greenery and wildlife. Trinity island, an unspoilt hidden island with the remains of an old chapel on it, is also part of this lough.

There is also a small village, a large Cathedral (Kilmore Cathedral), a paint balling arena and many more amenities all within 5 minutes from the B&B.
